01 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use Pokiyo.

02 What Pokiyo Does

Pokiyo lets you:

  • Log expenses and income
  • Set and track budgets and goals
  • Track recurring subscriptions
  • View spending Insights, calculated mathematically from the data you enter (no AI involved)
Pokiyo does not connect to your bank, and is not financial, investment, or tax advice.

03 Not Financial Advice

Everything in Pokiyo — budgets, insights, trends — is for informational purposes only. You’re responsible for your own financial decisions. For anything major, talk to a qualified financial advisor.

04 Your Account

  • You need an email and password to use Pokiyo
  • Keep your login details safe — you’re responsible for activity on your account
  • If you think someone else has accessed your account, email me right away

05 Subscription & Payment

Pokiyo is a paid app with no free trial — a subscription is required to use it, starting immediately upon purchase.
  • Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal
  • Billing: Handled entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play — I don’t process payments directly
  • Cancellation: Cancel anytime from your App Store / Play Store account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period, with no partial refunds
  • Refunds: Handled by Apple / Google under their own refund policies — I can’t issue refunds directly
  • Price changes: If prices change, existing subscribers will be notified before it affects their next billing cycle

06 Your Responsibilities

Please:

  • Use accurate information
  • Use Pokiyo for personal, lawful purposes only
  • Don’t try to reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit the app
  • Don’t try to bypass the subscription / payment system

07 Your Data

You own the data you enter into Pokiyo. I only use it to run and improve the app, as described in the Privacy Policy.

08 Intellectual Property

Pokiyo’s design, code, and branding belong to me. Please don’t copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the app without permission.

09 No Warranty

Pokiyo is provided “as is.” I don’t guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted, and I make no promises about the accuracy of calculated Insights beyond doing simple, honest math on the numbers you provide.

10 Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, I’m not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including financial loss — from your use of Pokiyo. My total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid me in the past 12 months.

11 Termination

I can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You can stop using Pokiyo and delete your account anytime.

12 Changes

I may update Pokiyo or these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept them.

13 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction].
